About Us
Connor Swenson is the Founder and President of AZ Voter and a strong advocate for voting rights. He is a freshman at Brown University and Arizona native. He began this initiative in 2020 in response to low voter turnout in the 2016 and 2018 elections. Connor aims to help voters throughout Arizona and nationwide become more comfortable with the voting process.
Our Team
AZ Voter is led by our Founder/President and a Team of Directors who manage event planning, research, outreach, and website efforts.
Sasha Anand
Director of Website
Sasha is a junior at Scottsdale Preparatory Academy and the Website Manager for AZ Voter. She joined because she believes that many people have not voted simply because of the lack of credential information in the political landscape of America today, and the lack of emphasis on the importance of each and every vote. In her free time, she loves to swim, listen to music and write.

Maya Ravishankar
Director of Event Planning and Operations
Maya is a junior at Scottsdale Prep and the Director of Event Planning and Operations for AZ Voter. She joined this organization because she believes voting has been one of the most important ways to participate in the democratic process. She believes having a voice in the ballot box is crucial to not only changing the way our communities are run but essential to understanding how laws that may seem foreign or complex impact our day-to-day lives. In her free time, she competes in Karate, and Judo.
