About Us

Sasha is a junior at Scottsdale Preparatory Academy and the Website Manager for AZ Voter.  She joined because she believes that many people have not voted simply because of the lack of credential information in the political landscape of America today, and the lack of emphasis on the importance of each and every vote. In her free time, she loves to swim, listen to music and write. 

Maya is a junior at Scottsdale Prep and the Director of Event Planning and Operations for AZ Voter. She joined this organization because she believes voting has been one of the most important ways to participate in the democratic process. She believes having a voice in the ballot box is crucial to not only changing the way our communities are run but essential to understanding how laws that may seem foreign or complex impact our day-to-day lives. In her free time, she competes in Karate, and Judo. 

Chase Swenson is the Director of Social Media for AZ Voter. A freshman at Chaparral High School in Scottsdale, AZ, Chase strongly believes in Voter Registration for teens and encouraging young adults to vote in order for their voice to be heard. In his free time, he plays competitive basketball.
